5k Run For Turtles

RAIN OR SHINE!

5k runners/ walkers: Today is the day you earn your very own KTTC water bottle!

Join us Saturday June 26th – 5pm in Peterborough’s Jackson Park for our 1st annual RUN FOR TURTLES.

We will enjoy a 5km run (or walk) along the creek on Jackson Park trail. The kids can enjoy a short loop around the pond at 4:30 pm. Hopefully, if we are very lucky, we’ll spot some of the park’s resident turtles!

Cost and Registration

Cost is $20 per adult (price goes up to $25 June 16th) & $15 for the Kids Fun Run

All proceeds from the event will help support the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre & our turtle conservation and rehabilitation efforts.

Fundraising for Turtles

You can also download a pledge sheet, if you would like to do extra fundraising for the KTTC (prizes for the most pledges raised!)

This event is all about the turtles & we encourage you to come dressed as YOUR favourite turtle (prizes for best turtle costumes!)

Parking and Directions

The run will occur in beautiful Jackson Creek Park at the pond and pagoda bridge. Parking is on Bonaccord St. at Bonnerworth Park ust south of the overhead Parkhill bridge.
