Can't Make the AGM?

Still want to contribute? Send in your proxy form. Proxy voting (giving your vote to another member) is the biggest way a member can help out at an AGM.

Giving your proxy to another member gives the membership the ability to appoint new board members and make decisions to help turtles.

2008 Annual General Meeting

Held Over!

The Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Saturday May 24, 2 p.m.

The meeting will include:

The AGM will be held at the Riverview Park & Zoo in the Orientation Centre. Use the Filtration Plant entrance near the camel paddock.

The KTTC needs volunteer board members with experience in financial management, fund-raising, risk-management, budgeting and volunteer management. If you would be interested in volunteering send an email to webmaster@kawarthaturtle.org.

We are also looking for a shift coordinator for the "wet job volunteers". This volunteer position would help maintain the schedule the turtle care volunteers at the centre. It requires very reliable person for a few hours training, light phone work, and a car to get to the centre approximately 1 hour a week.

All members who were members 30 days before the date of the AGM are eligible to vote. If a voting member can't make it to the meeting then you can have another member vote for you by proxy. Please notify Jack Sisson at the Riverview Park & Zoo if you intend to send a proxy.
